Dear Ivana,

I am so happy to see how far you have come when looking back to the beginning of this
academic year. In the start you were quite reserved and shy about showing your skills in
class but in the second term I sense that you became a bit more confident in your own
abilities and were not so shy to speak up in class. Like I said, you have come a long way
since the start and that shows a lot of dedication and inner strength. You have yourself to
thank for your accomplishments.

In the second term you showed a steady progress and really good performances in the
practice tests we did. Even though the score in the second mock exam was far from ideal
you did not let that discourage you but instead used it as a tool to motivate yourself to
work harder .

Without a doubt your vocabulary skills need a lot more work, but I am glad to see they are
slowly improving. One thing you absolutely have to continue doing, if you want to improve
your language, is reading English texts. I always tried to encourage you to speak more
English in class and you should continue to do so at any given opportunity. You have
potential to do better if you improve your attitude towards your studies and I can see you
will continue to improve at a steady rate if you continue on this track.

Whatever you end up doing in life, never forget to believe in your own inner strength. I
wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Warmest regards,
Mr. Arman
