etc.), do you think that Plato and Hegel could still be right? Can it still be defended that a rational principle
(the Good, or the Absolute) continues to underwrite reality today? Why or why not?

The current rise of rise of right-wing populism and environmental degradation

 Right wingers disillusioned sa government and current sate -. Doesnt know na its capitalism and 
 Reactionary response to a globalization that loosely connects to them losing their jobs ––
narrative is demonizing the immigrants –– the ones causing globalization
o Something is wrong with the current approach to globalization
o Rural areas tend to be heavily dominated by right wing extremists rather than urban
areas where more diverse populations flock
o Narratives that populist poepl use are already baked into the consciousness of people
 Narratives that businessmen can do the job –– trumps win in
 Racism towards migrants cater to the internalized xenophobia and racism of
these epopel
 Growing left wing support from young voters
