Apache2 virtual hosts Apache's documentation

(http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/vhosts/) defines virtual

hosts as follows: The term Virtual Host refers to the practice of
running more than one web site (such as www.company1.com
and www.company2.com) on a single machine. Virtual hosts
can be "IP-based", meaning that you have a different IP address
for every web site, or "name-based", meaning that you have
multiple names running on each IP address. The fact that they
are running on the same physical server is not apparent to the
end user. We will have two Koha virtual hosts—one for the
OPAC and the other for its staff client. Name-based or IP-based
virtual hosts Koha has two interfaces, the OPAC and the staff
client. You will need to choose how you want to access these
interfaces: • With the same host name, but different port, say:
http://koha.mylibrary. org, http://koha.mylibrary.org:8080/ •
With two host names, say: http://koha-opac.mylibrary.org and
http://koha-staff.mylibrary.org • With an IP address and
different ports, say: http://192.168.1.21 and
http://192.168.1.21:8080 • With two IP addresses, say:
http://192.168.1.21 and http://192.168.1.22
