THE MAN WITHOUT A FACE:

A MOVIE REVIEW

The man without a face is a movie written by Isasbelle Holland, directed by Mel Gibson
and produced by Bruce Dave. It was released in 1993, copyrighted and distributed by Warner
Bros in 2004. The movie was starred by Mel Gibson as Justin McLeod, Nick Stahl as Charles E.
Norstad ‘Chuck’, Fay Materson as Gloria Norstad, Margarete Whitton as Catherin Palin and
Gabby Hoffman as Megan Norstad.

The movie happened in Crainsport, Maine USA which is about a boy named Charles also
known as Chuck who wants to enroll in a military school, however his first try on the exam was
not successful. He then was given another chance to try for the exam however he only has one
summer to study and prepare for it. Charles then looks for a tutor who would help him study for
the exam. He then asks Justin McLeod a former teacher with a terrible past where in half of his
face and body got burned. However, after the accident lots of people began to become wary of
McLeod but he still agreed to teach Charles causing them to have an unlikely friendship until
Charles learns more about his father and secret behind McLeods the terrible past. In the end the
conflict that arose between Charles and McLeod was resolved. Charles then entered and gradated
in the school he was preparing for where in during his graduation he saw McLeod walking away
happily.
