ACTIVITY 1.

What are the differences between ethics and morality?

In my own understanding, ethics is an individual character-based judgments and a more
subjective sense of good and evil by individuals. It determines a social system's fundamental
workings. It is engaged with what is beneficial for people and society. Besides ethics let us
distinguish between right and evil, good and terrible. Our lives can be guided by ethics in a
genuine and practical way. While in the other side, morality is a standards for distinguishing
between right and wrong, or good and bad behaviour. It is a set of ideas and values that guide
people's behavior and are widely accepted by a society or a group of individuals. For me, your
morals are your beliefs about what is good and wrong, particularly in terms of how you will
behave and treat others. It will dictates to you what will you choose and do in one situation. But
both ethics and morality are need to balance for our decision makings.
