Rationale

In my classroom I want my students to feel confident and have a sense of freedom when choosing where to work that will be

best for them. I have chosen to have tables of three to encourage social skills that some students with learning differences lack.

However, I have also provided flexible seating so that if students need to fidget or have their own personal desk that is also an option.

My class is diverse among its students and inclusive of all learning differences. There will be an iPad for each student to use for

assignments as well as a resource for students who may need to type or draw as a more comfortable form of communication. Next to

the iPad cart will be classwork and the turn in table. In addition to our iPads I will have a smartboard to project lessons on that

students can see from the rug, as well as a bulletin board corner with the daily agenda located next to the library. Finally, there is a

handwashing and clean up corner to encourage good hygiene and slowing the spread of germs.
