Down Syndrome Living

I was born with Down Syndrome.

But it isn’t all that bad you know.
I see my friends every day,
Sometimes we see a show.
I take the bus to school you see,
Just like everyone else would do.
Bringing along my band instrument,
Yes, I am in the band too.
My classes are a little simplified,
This is a fact that’s true.
My teachers are there to support me,
As if I was brand new.
I love my community that surrounds me,
School is a great place to go.
The people that I call family,
Never make me feel I’m low.
I was born with Down Syndrome.
