Graffiti Painting

I had some trouble coming up with a plan. I'm not very artistically talented, my aphantasia makes it impossible
to imagine images which greatly hinders my spacial skills. However once I found a template (a picture of Jack
Sparrow) I was able to replicate what I saw onto the original image. I used Krita which I am somewhat familiar
with and a stylist so these things helped as well most of the augmentation were done by using various pen
styles. Once I got something somewhat passable on the screen I had more fun with tiny adjustments such as
the dirty face, yellow teeth and variation in the hair.

This was a clear example of 1.6 creative communicators. Specifically 1.6A and 1.6B choosing platforms, tools
and then remixing digital works into new ideas.

I can see variations of this project being used for all sorts of purposes. One that especially tickles my fancy is
in a literature class picking actors for a character and then creating their costume in a similar fashion. I think
that would be very engaging. It could also be done in an art classroom to learn about styles of art. Where you
take a famous painting and then adjust it in a way that feels natural.
