Celebrity Gossip Newspaper

Maybe it's because I didn't push my self this assignment or it could be just that the
assignment didn't sing to me. Regardless the reason I don't feel I learned much from
this assignment. I came up with a paper premise edited some pictures which was
probably the most fun part of the assignment and copy and pasted other people
stories on to a page. After a bit of picture placement and moving around stories that
was it. I suppose I learned that if an image is touching the header or footer spot it gets
placed on all pages which is good to know. Overall I guess I'm just done the
assignment is over.

This assignment mostly consisted of inste standard 1.6 creative communicator. We

got creative writing our story and then got creative putting the newspaper together.
Then a Little bit of photos hoping to tie it all up.

I wasn't a huge fan of this project. The articles were silly and fun but we only wrote one
of them and yes ibuilding the newspaper was creative but I feel like using other
people's articles limited the ability to be creative a bit. So with reduced intellectual
research or learning and then restrictions placed on creativity I do not believe this
project is one I'm very keen on reproducing. If I were to use this project though I think
I'll make the articles either A) about their peers allowing everyone to interview each
other to make articles that way they learn more about the class as they are doing the
project. This would be one that Is done early in the year to build a stronger class bond.
Or B) about actual news that way they have to research and learn to extrapolate
information from the internet.
