Mizoram releases fresh Covid-19 guidelines, more relaxations offered: 10 points
The Mizoram government has issued new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) guidelines, giving
relaxations to economic and other activities. The new guidelines will come into effect on
October 3 and will remain in force in the state till October 16.
The fresh guidelines focus on easing economic and other activities in Aizawl Municipal
Corporation (AMC) area and other parts of the state.
The order issued on Friday night said that it has been felt necessary to give more focus on
providing better treatment to Covid-19 patients than imposing stringent restrictions despite a
spurt in infections.
Here are the key points of the guidelines issued by Mizoram government:
1. The new order allowed the re-opening of churches in Covid-19 affected AMC area and
also in other parts of the state only on Sunday and Sabbath (Saturday) during daytime
with 50 per cent seating capacity.
2. Churches in Covid-19 free towns and villages outside AMC area have been already re-
opened on August 22.
3. School and other higher education institutions will continue to remain closed in AMC
area. Training institutes will, however, be allowed to re-open with 50 per cent seating
capacity in the state capital, the order said.
4. Re-opening of public parks is now allowed even in AMC area with 50 participants
subjected to permission of local level task force of the locality where such park is located.
5. Social or public gatherings like anniversary or birthday celebrations and other gatherings
are now allowed in AMC area with either 50 per cent of the seating capacity or 50
attendees, whichever is less, the order said.
6. The number of attendees in funerals and weddings in AMC area has been increased from
30 to 50 or 50 per cent of the seating capacity, whichever is less, it added.
7. The government has now allowed full re-opening of all business shops, market places,
hawker stalls, hotels, restaurants (with 50% seating capacity) and tourist lodges, among
others, across AMC area.
8. All government offices in the state will now open with full staff, the order said.
9. Intra-state movement is allowed under exceptional cases.
10. Night curfew will continue to be imposed in all district headquarters between 8pm and
4am.
Covid-19 situation in Mizoram
Mizoram on Saturday reported 1,626 new Covid-19 cases pushing the state's tally to 96,456, the
state health department said. The death toll rose to 314 as three more persons succumbed to the
infection in the last 24 hours, an official said.
The state now has 16,361 active Covid-19 cases and its positivity rate is above 20 per cent.
The state has so far conducted more than 11.12 lakh samples tests for Covid-19.
On Thursday, Mizoram recorded 1,741 new cases of Covid-19 infections.
On Tuesday, the number stood at 1,846, Mizoram's highest-ever single-day tally. On September
21, the state had reported its previous highest single-day spike of 1,731 Covid-19 cases.

India’s daily tally of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) saw a slight decline on Saturday after
24,354 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 33,791,061, according to
the Union ministry of health and family welfare. Saturday’s tally is 2,373 less than that of
Friday’s when 26,727 people were detected as Covid-19 positive. As many as 234 patients died
during the last 24 hours, pushing the country's death toll to 448,573. According to the health
ministry’s dashboard, the death toll on Saturday is 43 less than that of Friday’s when 277
fatalities were recorded.
The active cases, which currently account for less than 1 per cent of the caseload, stand at
273,889 and have been the lowest for the last 197 days. As many as 25,455 people recovered
from the viral disease in the same period. With this, the cumulative count of recoveries

Kerala continues to contribute the highest number of cases towards the national Covid-19 tally.
The Union health ministry said on Saturday that of the new cases seen across the country, Kerala
added 13,834 infections. The infection count in the southern state has climbed to 4,694,719
including 25,182 deaths, 142,499 active cases and 4,526,429 recoveries. According to the Kerala
government’s press release, 440,194 persons are under observation of which 17,976 are in
isolation wards of various hospitals. Thrissur, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram remain the
worst-hit districts in the state.
Meanwhile, the vaccination coverage against Covid-19 in India has exceeded 897.4 million and
nearly seven million doses were administered to beneficiaries in the last 24 hours. Of the total
vaccination, 654,331,744 beneficiaries have received the first dose and the remaining
243,149,810 have received both doses, i.e fully vaccinated. The Union health ministry said on
Thursday that 69% of India’s adult population has received at least one dose of the vaccine while
25% is inoculated with both doses.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 571,994,990 samples have been
tested for Covid-19 till now of which 1,429,258 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

Do đại dịch COVID-19 bùng phát mạnh và gây ảnh hưởng đáng kể đến đời sống của người dân
Ấn Độ dịp cuối tháng 4 đầu tháng 5 năm nay, Chính phủ Ấn Độ đã ban hành lệnh cấm xuất khẩu
mặt hàng này. Quyết định trên được nới lỏng thành hạn chế xuất khẩu vào ngày 14.6 vừa qua. Để

Đại sứ Phạm Sanh Châu chia sẻ, để đồng hành với các cơ quan chức năng và người dân trong
nước, các cán bộ và nhân viên Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Ấn Độ đang làm việc với 200% công
suất, thực hiện 7-10 buổi làm việc cuộc gặp trực tuyến mỗi ngày, tranh thủ từng giờ từng phút
với mong muốn các bệnh nhân sớm có thuốc điều trị kịp thời.
Trả lời tại Quốc hội hôm nay (3.8), ông Mansukh Mandaviya - Bộ trưởng Bộ Y tế Ấn Độ - cho
hay, năng lực sản xuất thuốc Remdesivir của Ấn Độ tăng mạnh từ 3,8 triệu liều một tháng vào
thời điểm tháng 4 lên 12,25 triệu liều trong tháng 6. Số nhà máy được cấp phép sản xuất tăng từ
22 nhà máy trong tháng 4 lên 62 nhà máy vào thời điểm hiện tại.

trong việc kiểm soát làn sóng dịch Covid-19 vừa qua. Mặc dù trong giai đoạn này Ấn Độ còn
gặp nhiều khó khăn, nhưng Chính phủ Ấn Độ đã quyết định hỗ trợ Chính phủ và người dân Việt
Nam đang đương đầu với những diễn biến phức tạp của dịch bệnh, là một hoạt động rất có ý
nghĩa.

tại TP; Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Ấn Độ và Cộng đồng người Ân Độ tại khu vực phía Nam tiếp tục
quan tâm, ủng hộ các chương trình an sinh xã hội, vì sự phát triển chung của TP.
