Tawakkul and Fearlessness

Many messengers (May peace be upon all of them) have shown

immense tawakkul and patience when struck with hardships, Hazrat
Hud A.S was indeed one of them.
I was going through Surah Hud and a particular ayah grabbed my
attention. I was left stunned and in awe of our beloved Prophet
Hud's A.S fearlessness towards his hostile nation. The conversation
between him and his disbelieving nation went like this in Quran:
“They said: O Hud, thou has brought us no clear argument, and we are not
going to desert our gods for thy word, and we are not believers in thee.”
"Other gods as partners! so scheme (your worst) against me, all of you,
and give me no respite.”
(Surah Hud: 54-55)

I'd be lying if I tell you that it didn't tear me up one bit. SubhanAllah!
This Surah has a lot of faith reviving ayahs and I have picked these
two to bring into your attention.
See, how fearless Hazrat Hud A.S is! His nations had been denying his
message and threatening him by taking names of their false gods.
They were not only exceptionally strong built but also a lot in
number, they were so many of them! Imagine, a whole extremely
well-built clan against a handful of believing people led by Hazrat
Hud A.S! Yet he A.S stood tall with his tawakkul shining like there's
no tomorrow! SubhanAllah. And obviously at the end, He was
victorious, Allah had saved him. We all need such strong tawakkul
on Allah, the most merciful. He has promised to lift us and help us in
life if we really rely on Him.
This fearlessness was a product of his strong tawakkul in Allah. He
A.S knew that he is taking help from Allah, the Almighty and he
won’t be ever let down after tying all his hopes to Allah.
We need to build our faiths as strong as his because it has been
proven time and again how those who have strong faiths win at the
end, always. So, remember the story of Hud A.S and next time any
problem comes your way, fight it with the sword of unwavering
tawakkul.
