CHRISTMAS ADVEN
TJoumey of the birth of JesusToday, in the town of David, a Savior has been
born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
Luke 2:19
Who doesn't like Christmas, right? The day spent setting up the tree and decorating the house is super special,
full of chaos and joy. There's delicious food, the family gets together, the cities are lit up... it’s quite a party!
‘One day many years ago there was also a very special Christmas Eve. The night was beautiful, in the sky a star
shone brightly, pointing to a stable, a place where animals slept. There. in a simple crib, the King slept. And do
you know who this king was? It was Jesus, who was born to bring us ail a great gift: Salvation!
Jesus came into the world, was raised here, lived among us, died on the cross forgiving our mistakes, was
resurrected and brought peace to the world, so that you, me and so many others could be called God's friends!
Do you believe in this Christmas miracle? Recognizing that Jesus saved us from a life of disobedience to God,
it isa gift that changes our history. The Bible teaches us that whoever believes in Jesus with their heart will
receive this gift of Salvation (Romans 10:9).
But do you know which other gift is also very nice to receive? The opportunity to hear about who Jesus is!
Knowing what Jesus has done for us is a gift that many people have not received yet. In many,
arts of the world. entire families don't know anyone who could tell them about Jesus.
or they don't have a Bible to read this story.
‘Therefore, those of us who know the true story of Christmas, have the task of
Praying and telling everyone this good news: that Jesus came into the world
to deliver this gift from God to us, our Salvation,
Jesus was born, our friend, our King, our Savior!
