A BAD DAY

Yesterday I 1) (to have) a hard day. When I 2) (to get) up at seven it 3) (to rain) heavily.

Yesterday I had a hard day. When I got up at seven it was raining heavily. It was cold and dark
in the room. But I had to go to school. So I jumped out of the bed, went to the bathroom,
cleaned my teeth, brushed my hair, had breakfast, dressed and went to school. When I was
running to the bus stop I saw my bus was going away. I had to go on foot. All my clothes were
wet. When I came to school, I was late and my form tutor was waiting for me in the hall. She
was very angry. I couldn’t explain her anything. The first lesson was Math. My classmates were
writing a test. I didn’t have much time to do the work. So I got a bad mark. After the lesson I
was sitting and crying when my friend asked me about an excursion my class was going to. We
were going to see an old castle. But I left parents’ permission on the kitchen table. I was very
upset. Literature is my favourite lesson. It was the second lesson. We were reading poems. The
teacher asked me a questions about the poet but I forgot everything. I got another bad mark. The
third lesson was English. I had to write several sentences in my copy-book. But I couldn’t find
my pen I the bag. The teacher was angry. After English we went to the dining-hall. What could
be wrong there? Of course I broke my plate. But suddenly I saw my mum. She was standing in
the hall and waiting for me. She brought the permission to the excursion was happy. And
suddenly the day stopped to be awful. The math teacher invited me to finish my test after the
lesson. The English teacher asked me to make a report about some poets. And I found my pen.
It was lying on the chair. The weather became warmer. After the lessons I and my friend went
to the café to eat some ice-cream. It wasn’t a bad day any more.
