● 3 to 4 days for them ripen
● Refrigerating can slow the ripen down
● Warmer temps ripen and brown faster
● What will the bananas look like inside
● Would i have nets flying around the
bananas after a few days
 Hypothesis

● Stove banana- will be the one to ripen first

● Refrigerator -won’t ripe at all
● Cabinet- I don’t know what to think
● At the end they all will be mushy
● All will be brown in the inside

 Step by Step

1. Bought bananas from

walmart
2. Took a vote
3. Place bananas on the
stove, cabinet and in
the refrigerator
4. Let them sit in the
same spot for 5 days
5. On the 5th day went I
took them out of
there spots to
examine them
6. Ate the bananas

Facts
● Dogs can eat bananas
● Bananas are not fruits they
are berries
● Healthy- contain fiber,
potassium, folate and
antioxidants
● Bananas first came from
Southeast Asia
● Take 4 to 6 months to grow
Most of my family voted
that the banana in the
refrigerator was going to
ripen first and I voted
that the one the stove
was going to ripen first
and I was right. All of the
bananas were still able
to eat after the 5 days.
The refrigerator banana
is the only one that
started to brown in the
inside. I found out that
there is no great place to
storage your bananas
because no matter what
they are going to ripen
and I no nets flying
around. Overall this was
a fun project to do with
my family.
