1. Upload the supplied file ”C4-W4-PE2” and open

it in the canvas area.

2. Navigate to the simulation workspace and

create a structural buckling simulation study.

3. Add a fixed structural constraint to one end of

the beam.

 4. Add a force to the other end of the beam of
1000lbs and solve the simulation.

5. View the simulation results for the first mode of

failure.

6. Navigate and view each buckling mode.

7. Identify the load values for each mode and what

the resulting failure would look like.
