Supreme Commander Thorne must be stopped! The Robot did have some limited
intel, but there’s only time to ask it
On this, the Starcadian Alliance is completely agreed. But the one question before it succumbs to
question is; how do you stop a man with perfect planning? battle damage.

...a distress signal has been detected from a Robot that has
escaped from Thorne’s fleet. It might be privy to some secret
information that could be the key to winning the war! Or at
least where Thorne has hidden all the Tacos!

The Freelancers will have to move fast though - Thorne’s

ships are in hot pursuit!
The mission is clear heroes - get on board that ship, repel the
invaders and rescue that Robot!

 HOSTILE TACO-VER
SCENARIO 2A

Taco Tuesday is the Starcadian Alliance’s oldest and dearest
tradition. Supreme Commander Thorne was only stopped
after he went too far cancelling this much-loved festival
of fun and taste! However, the frozen Tacos that Thorne
confiscated have been missing since those dark days –
missing until now!
The Tacos have been saved, but it’s clear that such an evil act
can never be allowed to darken the galaxy again – Supreme
Commander Thorne must be stopped for good! But how to
get aboard the most secure station in the Universe?

The information provided by the Robot has led to the

discovery of hidden base where Thorne stored the stolen
tacos, and now it’s up to the brave Freelancers to liberate
lunch!

This mothballed storage station has outdated access codes,

but if the crews were to steal a more modern access code it
might be possible to use it to get to Thorne.
Scenario 3A – Grand Theft Code

Alternatively, a high ranking Starcadian General has been

captured by Thorne’s Troops. If he could be rescued, he
might be able to provide vital information about the layout
of Thorne’s base.
Scenario 3B – Search and Rescue
Once inside, the crews will need to bypass the security
lasers to get access to the storage room and then steal as
many tacos as they can carry – I’d like to say there’s enough
tacos to go around, but when it comes to Tacos, its every
crew for itself so keep a blaster or laser sword handy against
both Thorne’s Guards and your fellow Freelancers!

 COUNTER-INTEL
SCENARIO 2B

The spy is full of useful information about Thorne’s fleet.

In hindsight, there was always something suspicious about
‘Hugh Normalman’. Maybe it was the way he turned his
nose up at Tacos or perhaps it was his one huge yellow eye
and rows of pointed teeth – who’s to say? It came as little
shock then when the information from the Robot confirmed
he was a spy for Supreme Commander Thorne!
He knows the location of a prison station where Thorne is
holding a high ranking Starcadian Captive who might have
intel about Thorne’s flagship.
Scenario 3B – Search and Rescue

The Starcadian Alliance must move

quickly before the spy has the
chance to report that he’s been
compromised.

The Freelancer Crews will need to

jam communications from the station
to make sure that any transmission
he makes is intercepted. Once his
report is successfully stopped, the
spy himself needs to be captured
before he can make his escape! On the other hand, if the Starcadians can move quickly
before the spy’s absence can be missed, a rescue ship could
be lured in, and officer’s uniforms stolen to allow a daring
strike team to sneak into Thorne’s base, right under his nose.
Scenario 3C – Dress to Impress

 GRAND THEFT CODE
SCENARIO 3A

The access codes to Supreme Commander Thorne’s fleet are
a closely guarded secret and changed frequently to avoid
any mistakes, but if some sneaky Freelancers could get hold
of them, they might be able to infiltrate Thorne’s base before
he was even aware that they’d been taken.
With the codes secured, access to Thorne’s base should be
a doddle! Use the codes to infiltrate the base and take the
fight to Thorne!

 SEARCH AND RESCUE
SCENARIO 3B

Admiral Atchoo, a highly decorated military officer of the
Starcadian Alliance has been captured and is being held in
Supreme Commander Thorne’s high security prison station
known as Gesundheit Bay. His rescue is of top importance
to the Starcadian Alliance, but its also possible that he’s seen
the layout of Thorne’s base and could provide the Crews
with detailed information to help them infiltrate the base.
Admiral Atchoo is extremely grateful for his rescue – he’d
been denied any tacos while held by Thorne’s forces! Not
only can he draw up detailed plans of Thorne’s base from
when he was brought there, but he knows the location
of other prisoners being held on the base. If they could be
rescued and armed the additional numbers could help turn
the tide against Thorne’s forces!

To organise the Admiral’s rescue, the Crews will need to

attack the prison, disable the security systems, locate the
cell he is being held in and then escort him to safety. Easier
said than done when the prison is crawling with guards and
more than one team of Freelancers is competing to keep him
safe – sometimes with deadly force!

SCENARIO 3C

This is it! A golden opportunity to sneak aboard Supreme With Uniforms in place, the Crews will be able to sneak into
Commander Thorne’s base without being noticed! All the Thorne’s base without raising suspicions!
crews have to do is dress up like enemy officers and then
stroll straight in! The only problem is the Freelancers tend Onwards to the final confrontation with Thorne!
to be a little… trigger happy when it comes to taking down
Thorne’s minions, so its difficult to find a uniform that isn’t
covered with blaster burns! Hopefully they’ll be able to hold
themselves back enough to cobble together a full uniform!

Once in disguise, use the comms systems to summon a ship

to pick you up and once on board, take control and fly it
straight to Thorne’s base!

SCENARIO 4
Completed Quest 3A – Use the Access Code
The access codes work like a charm, granting greater control
over the teleportation systems. Use the codes to find the bases Supreme Commander Thorne is defeated! The base is
weak spots! exploding all around you, but you still have time to stroll in
slow motion back to your shuttle without even glancing at
Completed Quest 3B – Save Hostages the explosions all around you – heroes never get distracted
If you can rescue the hostages, they’ll help you take down by explosions, no matter how cool they are!
Thorne’s base! Find and rescue the hostages!
Your crew are hailed as heroes of the Starcadian Alliance –
Completed Quest 3C – Sneak past Guards you’ve saved the day, the universe and most importantly of

dressed as Thorne’s men. Find Thorne, and then the attack can
commence!

Thorne’s reign of terror must end here – if not for truth, justice
and galactic freedom, then at the very least, for Taco Tuesday!
Thorne’s base must be destroyed completely – blast everything
that looks like it might break!
Once you’re sure the base is thoroughly ruined, its time to take
down Thorne himself. Did the perfect planner see this coming?
His laughter rings through the station – has he got the heroes
right where he wants them, or have you got what it takes to end
this war once and for all? For the Starcadian Alliance!
