Permission to respond the question

Government should have more FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) than FPI (Foreign Portfolio Investment).
To what extent you agree or disagree with the statement?

I think I agree with that statement because FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) has several benefits such as:

1. FDI is a key to international (global) economic integration, so that the presence of foreign capital will
create relationship that is more stable and durable in the long term between the two countres related
to economic problems.

2. With FDI in the form of investment from foreign capital, there will be a technology transfer that
occurs between countries that carry out the cooperation.

3. Open access for companies originating from within the country to be able to carry out promotions
abroad or other countries. That way, the market will be wider, not only domestically but also allowing it
to penetrate the international market.

4. FDI is one way to expand business where one of the benefits is as a development tool for the
economy of a country. The expansion of business and trade can be through capital flows, the entry and
exit of share values and income from partner countries that have invested their capital.
