FIRE EVACUATION

1. To become familiar with the safe and orderly


evacuation in the school in case of fire emergency.

2. To acquire knowledge on the basic evacuation


protocols.
WALK NORMALLY
Evacuation
Primary and Secondary
evacuation routes should be
established, and ALL
employees and students
should be drilled to use either
route.

Exits should be clearly


marked and all signs lit and
unobstructed.
Summary

Schools must be prepared for any type of emergency and thus prepare their
students as well. While no one ever expects something bad to happen, it is
always better to be ready just in case.

Schools are required to have a FIRE EVACUATION PLAN in place in case


there should be a fire at the school.

3. Alarms
4. Practice/Drills
