Good morning, my name is Sara García García

A. What is a bard
To start this presentation, we need to know what a bard is. A bard/bardd in medieval
Gaelic and Welsh culture was a trained poet hired to compose eulogies for his master.
These poets were very important people; they charmed their listeners by telling them
stories and ensured that history was not forgotten during a time when the majority could
not read or write.
B. Myhtflix the bard
The character we came to talk about, Mythflix the Bard/ Maethflics y bardd, is a Welsh
poet well bard; he talks about the Mabinogion, a collection of tales. Despite the age of
the stories, the book was not published until the nineteenth century. The stories were
passed down from poet to poet, each one memorizing them, and it wasn't until years
later that they were written down. The Mabinogion, a compendium of nine of these
stories, was published in the 1820s.
C. Cad Wales
This is going to sound strange but I wanted to mention this institution. Cadwwales is the
Welsh Government’s historic environment service and many of Cadw’s projects
contribute to our understanding of Wales’s Past. If you google Mythflix the Bard, the
first thing you'll see is this video of the organization starring an actor characterized as
Mythflix in which he explains a bit of the character's history. In case you are interested.
D. Famous Bards
Finally, you've probably seen bards on a lot of occasions and not even realized it. For
example:
   1. In History: William Shakespeare is called “The Bard of Avon”, although not every
poet is a bard, he is considered a bard due to his plentiful writings and the contribution
he made to the language because of the number of words he created.
In second place:
   2. In series and movies:
 Alan A-Dale (The Roaster) in Robin Hood
 Jaskier (the bard) in The Witcher
  3. And last but not least, in Videogames:
There are video games in which the main character is a bard such as “The Bard’s Tale”
and others who appear as secondary characters or secondary roles, as in the case of
Edward Chris von Muir in Final Fantasy IV.
