After joining my medical school I joined a welfare society named Red Wasila Association.

So our team
decided to visit an orphanage SOS CHILDREN VILLAGE. We bought some gifts for the children and
arrange some snacks that we could contribute to make those children happy. I was feeling a bit nervous
that whether those children would like our visiting them or would they feel comfortable with us or not.
All those apprehensions were in mind because I have not visited any orphanage before.

When we reached orphanage we were warmly welcomed by the children. My first glance at those
children was the time that I cannot forget. Those innocent smiles and shinny eyes just melted my heart.
Children were very loving. We played some games with them, gave them their gifts and snacks and then
came back.

Although we came back but I believe I left my heart with those children. The way children treated us
with so much excitement made me realize that how they long for someone who can love them. It was
heart wrenching to know that these children are living in such situation without their parents. My visit to
orphanage was my life changing experience. It made realized how all of us are fortunate enough to have
basic necessities of life. Now it is my life goal to focus on positive aspect of life and to establish a NGO
for cute little angels in our society.
