Assignment 3: Present an article on the

research front of application of heat
pumping technology
This is individual assignment. Each student will present the assignment in 15-20 minutes followed by
discussion. The student passes the assignment by successfully answering the assignment questions in
clear presentation and respond to the questions in the discussion. The student should also be engaged
in asking critical questions to other participants when they present their assignments.

Select at least one article which you think presents a research frontline in the topic of application of
heat pumping technologies, the article can be related to any innovative application of heat pumps and
refrigeration, advanced systems solutions, or new components. It can also be an innovative service in
the residential or commercial sector (check heating or cooling as a service as an example) or any novel
industrial application of the heat pumping technologies. In the presentation make sure you include:

• Why you think this is an interesting research question?

• Explain the concept well so it is easy to understand
• Present and discuss key findings and conclusions
• What to expect in the future in the selected research area?

This assignment will be presented in the seminar on the 15th of December.
