Script for the Christmas Program

I. Roll Call
Christmas is a season of praise and thanksgiving for the incarnation of
God in Jesus Christ, and continues through the Day of Epiphany. The name
Christmas comes from the season's first service, the Christ Mass. Epiphany
comes from the Greek word epiphania, which means "manifestation." Therefore,
we celebrate Christmas as a symbol of love and happiness.
Ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant morning to one and all. Welcome to the
Cabugao Institute Christmas Program 2018. We are gathered here to celebrate
Christmas Season by perceiving different categories to be contested but before we
go on, may we all rise and let us feel the presence of the Lord amidst us through a
prayer to be led to us by our dedicated and workaholic Assistant Principal, Mr.
Romeo S. Solar.
(Opening Prayer)
Let us remain standing as we sing the Philippine National Anthem and
afterwhich the Cabugao Institute Hymn to be led by the Ediza Siababa/ Christian
Sonido.
(A.Community Singing) (please be sitted)

To formally start our program, may we call on the SSG President, John Mike
Sardeng to deliver his opening Remarks. Let’s give him a round of applause.
(B. Welcome Address) (Thank you John Mike for the warm
welcome.)

Cabinians are not just gifted with intelligence and wit but they are also
multitalented. Ladies and gentlemen fasten your seatbelt for we will about to
witness the wonderful performance of Grade 7 Class. Let’s give them a big big
hand!
(C. Intermission Number) (Thank you Grade 7 Class, you are
indeed a pride of CI.)

Now, let us move on to the presentation of the 2018 Parent of the year. May
we request our ever supportive principal, Ms. Maria S. Rondon to do the honor.
(D. Presentation of the 2018 Parent of the year)
May we also request our respective Director, Retired Judge Efren S. Ubungen
to award the plaque of Recognition to the parent of the year. Let’s give him a
round of applause.

(Thank you Maam/Sir and congratulations to our parent of the year 2018.

At this juncture, may hear a message coming from our parent of the year, in
the name of Mrs. Rosalinda Molina Santella, let’s give her a round of applause.

 (Message of the Parent of the Year.)

They are jolly and always smile whenever you meet them, they are cute and
lovable. They are energetic anytime, anywhere. Cabinians, let us welcome the
Grade 8 class in their intermission number. Let us give them a big big hand!
( Grade 8 intermission number) Thank you for that very shaking
performance Grade 8.)

Cabinians are indeed a pride of CI. May we also welcome the Cabugao Institute
Band for a Christmas rendition. Let us lend our ears stick our eyes to them as they
own the floor. Let’s give them a round of applause.

Thank you Cabugao Institue Band for that superb performance.

Now, let us move on to the highlights of this event, first may we have the Dula-
dulaan Contest. (Read the Guidelines, Mechanics, and Criteria)

Are you ready to meet the Cabugao Institute Millenial artists? If that so, then hold
your breath and we will now begin the contest proper for Dula-dulaan Competition.

While waiting for the result, may we have another intermission number from the
Grade 9 class. Let’s give them a big big hand. (Thank you Grade 9 for that very
shaking performanace.)

Cabugao Institute is not only composed of Millenial Actors and Actresses but it is
also composed of singers with a golden voice. May we have the 2 nd highlight of this
event, the Choral Competition. (Read the Guidelines, Mechanics and Criteria.)

Now, may we also welcome the Grade 10 class to give us an intermission number.
Let’s give them a round of applause.
At this juncture, may we have the presentation of Candidates for Miss Cabugao
Institute 2019, may call on Mr. Edgardo Somera to do the honor and afterwards, let
us lend our ears as he deliver his Christmas message.

At this moment, may we also witness the presentation of the Grade 11 Class. Let’s
give them a big big hand.

for his Closing Remarks. Let’s give him a round of applause.

Christmas is a symbol of love and happiness. We spread love by exchanging gifts

and celebrating with joy and happiness but the true essence of Christmas is sharing
blessings unconditionally with love that comes from the heart for everyday is
Christmas Day. Advance Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!
