THEFT

A, female, 24 years old, single, resident in Cabancalan, Mandaue City

appeared in this station and reported that her 24-karat necklace with heart shape
pendant weighing 20 grams with a value of P100,000.00 was stolen by X who also
a customer on a restaurant at Krusty Crab Restaurant, Opao, Mandaue City. On
September 1,2021 around 00:00, to celebrate her 24th birthday with her mother as
their celebration started, her mother gave her a 24-karat necklace with heart shape
pendant weighing 20 grams with a value of P100,000.00 as her gift to A, while
eating in alfresco dining setting with her mother, she feels nauseous and left the
necklace on the table as she quickly walks towards the bathroom. A returned to the
table and found out that the necklace is gone. A and her mother searching the
whole area to find the necklace, they asked the manager of the restaurant to review
the CCTV to check if someone steal the necklace from their table. Upon reviewing
the CCTV, they saw X who is a customer and sits next to their table of the
restaurant at that time walks calmly towards their table and steal the necklace on
the table unnoticed. The manager of the restaurant said that X left without finishing
his food and pays quick, and walks away quickly.
