1) Regla general  se agrega “s” al verbo:

2) Si el verbo termina en “ss,sh,x,o, z,ch  se agrega “es” al

3) Si el verbo termina en consonante + “y”.  Se elimina la


“y”, se coloca “ies”.

- Acciones que están sucediendo en el momento en que se habla.

FORMACION DEL PRESENTE CONTINUO:

- Regla general: Se agrega al verbo : +ING. EXAMPLE:


- Work (trabajar ) , working (trabajando). Talk (hablar), talking
(hablando).
- Si termina en e :  Se elimina la “e” y se pone “ing”. FOR
EXAMPLE: Take (tomar,agarrar) , taking (agarrando), CLOSE
(cerrar) , closing (cerrando)
- Si termina en una sola vocal + una sola consonante: (C+V+C) Se
duplica la ULTIMA CONSONANTE.
FOR EXAMPLE: swim (nadar), swimming (nadando), put (poner),
putting (poniendo).
