Samuel blue Benjamin Samuel bloom was an American educational psychologist who first proposed the
theory of mastery learning

mastery learning suggests that the focus of instruction should be the time required for different students to
learn to the same material the key elements in Monterrey learning are one clearly specifying what
is to be learned and how it will be evaluated to allowing students to learn at their own pace three
assessing student progress and providing appropriate feedback

The concept of a zone of proximal development is the most important application of Vygotsky's theory
to education. This concept is important because it can be used by teachers as a guide to a child's
development. It enables a teacher to know what a student is capable of achieving through the use of a
mediator and thus enables the teacher to assist the child in reaching that level on their own.

The role of play in Vygotsky's theory is a second important aspect of his theory. According to this
viewpoint, teachers must provide children, particularly young children, with numerous opportunities to
play. A child's conceptual abilities are stretched through play and imagination. According to Vygotsky,
play leads to development.
