SCENARIO 1

Action:
During our five-day duty it was a mind-blowing days of us since we all need to
brainstorm to gather ideas that me and my fellow student nurses can tell the people of the
barangay. We know that we can make our patients happy even though that we are still
student nurses by giving them the care and compassion to the work that we do and even if
it’s such a stressful day we are still grateful for what we’ve done in our 5 days duty

Reflection:
The task that was given to us focuses on health education and environmental situation
and children’s nutrition. Poor sanitation reduces human well-being social and economic
development due to the impact such as educational opportunities therefor we must maintain
everything clean and organized, we student nurses are here to advocate/educate you to be
responsible and take care of your health

Faith:
that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God.
Exodus 2:7: then his sister said to pharaoh’s daughter, “shall I go call a nurse for you from the Hebrew
woman that she may nurse the child for you?”

Action: things happen again in the future, I will do the same procedure since I know
that we’ve all do our best with our duty’s and I believe in myself that in the future I well be
even better based on my experiences
Scenario 2

Action:
When I responded to this community about health promotion, our main goal was not
just to teach, but to teach effectively so that people in the assigned community understand
the importance of health for the environment and especially for themselves. While teaching
or writing scripts / presentations, I realized that some communities like the one assigned to
us may lack knowledge about good health, which can lead to poor environmental hygiene
and / or child malnutrition and, or worse, what saddens me that there could be so many
families that could suffer.

Reflection:
This realization has led me to put more emphasis on paying more attention to our
environment and wanting to feed the children who lack food, the children who are on the
street

Faith:
Deuteronomy 15:11 For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I
command you, “You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the
poor, in your land.”

Action:
In case this happens again in the future, I plan to react exactly as I have now, because
again as God's servants we must protect His creation and we cannot do it alone, but we must
also teach others how it goes. Let's get together with friends, family, co-workers or others and
help keep our environment healthy and also take care of children who are hungry and lack the
food they need.
Scenario 3
Action: Before beginning our home visit to the community, we first spoke with the midwife and
other health workers in the barangay to tell us how many families there are and among the
families that are our clients who are pregnant women in Brgy. Bauan. The midwife said there
were 28 families, we have identified two pregnant women and a hypertensive man. This is Ms.
Carag, 36, two days after her birth, Ms. B. Ballad, 18 years old, with 12 weeks of Primigravida
due to AOG and finally, Mr. C. Ramos, 48 years old, with hypertension and in BD follow-up for
three days. I saw that they lack training in health and basic needs to help their overall health.
Hence, it is our duty as nursing students to provide them with the basic needs that can help
them achieve their ideal well-being.

Reflection:
this verse tells us the we are helping our saints by showing hospitality to others not
only by caring but also giving compaisoj

Faith:
Roman 12:13

Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

Action:
During the home visit I noticed that some areas of Brgy. Bauan lacked basic medical care, a
healthy lifestyle, and adequate health education. Therefore, we, the assigned nurses, are
responsible for basic care and follow-up during our shift. We also teach them the causes and
consequences of their health problems and how to avoid them. Nursing students promote healthy
lifestyles, serve patients and provide health education. We also offer direct patient care. As key
members of the healthcare team, they provide our communities with the knowledge necessary to
lead healthy lives.
Scenario 4
Action:
During our visit to each family unit, I discovered that there were many health problems
in the neighborhood. I have noticed that you do not adequately separate the trash that has
contributed to illness in your community. People lack the knowledge of basic hygiene that
makes them susceptible to the risk of contagion. Population density does not help their
situation. In addition, people in the community are unaware of the health risks they face and
what they must do to prevent the spread of disease.

Reflection:
The Community residents showed a lack of understanding of the existing health risks.
We try to educate people and address the situation in the simplest way possible. However,
since some people don't believe in such things, the chances that they will take advantage of
any of the options we provide them is slim. They don't see how important what we have given
them is and how it might save their lives in the future. I have tried to understand where they
are going because they have no knowledge, but it is no excuse for them to continue doing what
they do because it is life threatening, but I understand that some people do not have the
money or time to do something like this, but I think a A little effort can go a long way.

Faith:
Exodus 15:26

"He said, ‘If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention
to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the
Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.’”

Action:
If I were to be confronted with a similar situation in the future, I believe that I would
have proceeded in the same manner as I did with this activity. I feel like what I did was an
effective approach in dealing with the people and the problems. I tried to be as professional as
possible to gain their trust and gain a better grasp of their point of view. If there is anything I
would alter, it would be to become more convincing so that the people would consider my
perspectives as a healthcare provider.
