NURSING CARE PLAN
Nursing Diagnosis
Acute pain related to inflammation as evidenced by facial grimacing, sighing, pain scale of 7/10,
loss of appetite and verbalization of “Nasakit tuy rupak ken marigatan nak agngal-ngal nurse.”
Nursing Inference
Due to inflammatory reaction or an infection from a virus, bacteria, or fungus, tissue
lining the sinuses in eyes, behind cheekbones and forehead (frontal, maxillary, sphenoid, and
ethmoid sinuses) become swollen or inflamed.
Nursing Goal
After 12-24 hours of nursing intervention the pain will be minimized as evidenced by absence of
facial grimacing and sighing, pain scale of 2/10, increased appetite and verbalization of “Haan
unay nasakit toy rupakon ken makangal-ngal nak nasayaaten nurse”
