 Entrepreneurship refers to the concept of developing and managing a business and bearing the
most risk for enjoying most of the rewards in the future, The characteristics of enterprise are
Pure-risk taker, Self-Confident, Hardworking, and Innovative

 Sole Proprietorship - This is the simplest and easiest way to get started. Just decide on a name
and start using it.
 Partnership Firm - Two or more people can come together to form a partnership firm.
 Company - The legal status of a company is different from that of its members.
 Limited Liability Partnership - The unlimited liability of partners is the main reason why
partnership firms have not been able to grow in size to be internationally competitive.
 One-person Company - It is recommended that the OPC be registered as a private company with
one member and at least one director.
 Small Companies - Very demanding statutory requirements and an imposing fee structure
discourage small companies from incorporation.
