Born July 26, 1964, Sandra Annette Bullock is an actress and producer from the United States.
Sandra was born in Arlington, Virginia. She was raised in Germany and Austria for 12 years and
is fluent in both languages. She learned to dance and sing as a child, and she regularly
accompanied her mother to her operas, where she played minor roles.
In Washington D.C., Sandra attended Washington-Lee High School. After graduating in 1982,
she attended East Carolina University (ECU) in North Carolina, earned a BFA in Drama in 1987.
She made her acting debut in the horror film "Hangmen" in 1987, playing an alternative role.
Sandra's notable appearances in films such as Speed, Miss Congeniality, A Time to Kill, The
Proposal, and The Heat have positively impacted the public.
Sandra Bullock has received a handful of film awards over her career. She received an Academy
Award for Best Actress, a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama,
and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Work by a Female Actor in a Leading Role

Sandra Bullock started Fortis Films, a film production firm, in addition to performing.
She is an outspoken supporter of the American Red Cross, having contributed at least $1 million
to the charity five times. She gave $1 million to relief operations in Haiti following the 2010

Sandra has been my favorite actress for many years since she is both skilled and forceful in her
job and her personal life. All of the films I've watched of her have her distinct traits that don't
appear forced or false. Almost all of her characters left me with something to claim once the film
was ended.
