Writing
Linking ideas with as long as, provided that, and unless
You can link two ideas with as long as, provided that, or unless.

As long as and provided that mean "if" or "only if":

So make time to review them – as long as / provided that they are worth watching
again, of course!
(= So make time to review them – only if they are worth watching again, of course!)

Unless means "except if" or "if . . . not":

Unless you find time to watch the recordings, there is really no point in having them.
(= If you don't find time to watch the recordings, there is really no point in having
them.)
