Ehsaas Kafaalat

Ehsaas’ Kafaalat is the Government’s programme through which it gives cash stipends of Rs.
2000 monthly and bank accounts to the most deserving and poorest women across the
country.

Under Ehsaas Kafaalat, each woman will have a savings wallet linked to her mobile phone
to enable her to access economic opportunities.

Enrolment of new beneficiaries is dependent on the data from the new Ehsaas survey.
Ehsaas survey has been accomplished nationwide in August 2021.

Households missed in the door-to-door survey can self-enrol themselves through Ehsaas
Registration Desks that have been opened at Tehsil level across the country.

All those that have been identified for enrolment through the new survey are given Rs. 2000
a month on a continuing basis, to assist them with their basic needs.

Each beneficiary gets a Kafaalat letter and an SMS announcing that they have been included
in Ehsaas and that they should collect their payment.

Ehsaas has opened 8171 web-portal to enable the new deserving households to check their
eligibility under Ehsaas Kafaalat programme.

The deserving families desiring to find out their eligibility status in the Kafaalat programme
can check their status on the Ehsaas portal through their Computerized National Identity
Card (CNIC) or survey token numbers. Portal: https://ehsaastracking.pass.gov.pk

This year 10 million families are being enrolled in Ehsaas Kafaalat.

The Ehsaas payment system is so designed to provide maximum options to women

beneficiaries including the first-time introduction of the option to draw money from a
biometric ATM.

Across KP, GB and AJK, Kafaalat, beneficiaries can withdraw payment through biometric
ATMs, designated retail shops and campsites of Bank Alfalah; and through Habib Bank in
Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Islamabad.

All new Kafaalat beneficiaries can access the payment at biometric ATMs and campsites
after having received messages of payment from 8171.
Taxpayers, car owners, government servants and their spouses and people who have a
history of foreign travelling will not be eligible to receive a monthly stipend or any other
facility under the Ehsaas Kafaalat programme.
