It is my great pleasure to recommend Salma Khairunnisa for this scholarship opportunity. I have
known Salma for three years as her counselor guidance since she was in 10th grade. Overall, Salma has
great adaptive skills and positive things that will be great for her Bussines major.

Concerning her adaptive skill, I see from the first time she came to our school that she had a culture
shock as she was moved from a special business school to a private one. In the beginning, her score
was at the Minimum Score Criteria. However, I was amazed knowing her determination to adapt
quickly to a new environment. She went to many extra classes, especially for economics and math, to
meet her teachers to get extra lessons, then she also made a study group among her peers and accepted
extra work on any subjects. As a result of her efforts, she went from the 5 th bottom rank to the top 15
ranks in her Social Science Major. Because of this performance, I feel salma is best suited in business.

She always brings positive thing to other students. I remember vividly in every market day; Salma was
one of the students who was very excited to execute the market day. She did many things voluntarily,
from decorating the stand, making promotion cards, and coordinating with her group. She also
motivated her peers to perform well, to sell anything out immediately. Her peers and teachers
positively noticed the performance, thus bringing positive things for the market day business at our
school. It made me so happy as a teacher that she can impacts her peers to dive in to something new
because of her passion.

If there's one weakness that I should point out from her is her people-pleaser behaviour. She believes
she could make a win-win solution for everybody. While she probably can do that, it might end her up
in a difficult situation to handle. However, Salma keeps learning how to set boundaries and know her
priorities while maintaining a win-win solution.

I highly recommend her for this scholarship application. Her potential, hard work and effort will get
her very far in life and there is no doubt in my mind that she will succeed anywhere she contributes to
any community to make our world a better place.
