It is my great pleasure to recommend Salma Khairunnisa for this scholarship

opportunity. I have known Salma for three years as her geographic teacher since she was in
10th grade. Overall, Salma has excellent communication and leadership skills.
Salma's communication skills are outstanding and different from her other classmates;
She talks with courage and loquaciously. She made her school subject easier when she self-
studied and did her word to understand every lecture. She is at the top of the class when she
presents PowerPoint. It is shown when she was delivering her presentation; the presentation
was so engaging that it could engage all students in the class, enabling two-way interaction
on her presentation subject. In addition, when she participated in a speech competition, she
was awarded 2nd place.
In addition, there is no doubt that Salma's leadership skills are on point as well. She
made a leading decision that resulted in a win-win result for others. Even when she was not
the leader in that group, she still managed to be a good supporter, cooperating with her peers
very effectively. This skill led Salma to have a chance to deepen her leadership skill by
attending a Seminar in Singapore and being a coach for a year, allowing her to coach two
hundred plus students with five to six participants per group at the time, and she managed to
get through it all.
Apart from her potential, I also see there is a lack of self-confidence in herself. On
several occasions, she looked like she lacked confidence when displaying the results of her
work. Of course, this would be an obstacle for her future due to her nervousness. However, I
see she continues to try to increase that confidence, and I believe studying abroad will help
her improve her confidence.
I recommend Salma's application to be taken into consideration. I believe that her
potential, hard work, and effort will get her very far in life, and there is no doubt in my mind
