born on November 27, 1932

died on August 21, 1983 due to the assassination that was held at
the Manila International Airport which was commonly known
today as the Ninoy Aquino International Airport or NAIA.

He was the Governor of the province of Tarlac


from 1961-1967 and became a senator of the
Philippines afterwards from 1967-1972.

He was also known as the chief opposition leader


during the era of martial law in the Philippines.
