Purpose : To familiarize with the groups and periods of the Periodic Table of the Elements

Instructions:

1. Number the groups from 1 through 18.

2. Name Groups 1, 2, 3-12, 17 and 18.
3. Number the period from 1 through 7.
4. Color the alkali metals green.
5. Color the alkaline earth metals pink.
6. Color the transition metals blue.
7. Color the halogens red.
8. Color the noble gases yellow.
9. Color the metalloids purple.
10. Color the other nonmetals orange.
11. Color the other metals brown.
