NARRATIVE REPORT ON VALUES RESTORATION PROGRAM AND SPIRITUAL
ENRICHMENT (Week 2)

A normal day which became a blissful one. Listening and understanding every verse that
was mentioned during the devotion brings me this kind of feeling wherein I can have the peace
of mind and calm surroundings. This session made us know how important the Bible is and the
thigs it can give to us, human beings.

The Bible, a book which gives us all the knowledge that leads to goodness, can also bring
us the drive, direction, and delights. The word of God gives us the drive in our lives; it gives us
the motivation and encouragement to continue living with purpose. God is always giving us the
confidence to do things that will make us grow and gives us the assurance that we have Him to
hold on to. He is the One whom we can get certainty on life.

I realized that in life, challenges are the things that makes us stronger. Going through
something that burdens us brings the best in us. No matter how cruel the world is, at the end of
day, I’m thankful because I’m still here. These challenges directs us to different decision, which
are good and bad; However, with God in our lives, it always directs us to the right path. It leads
us to a reasonable direction because His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

The word of God brings us delight. It gives us the joy in every aspect of our lives, the
feeling of being contented, a joy which boosts us to continue living according to His will. And
lastly, it gives us the prosperity, not only physically and materially but spiritually. In everything
that is happening in the world, despite of the problems and hindrances, despite of so many
despites, it is fulfilling how God can calm us during those times, it is overwhelming how God
works in His own ways. I must surrender myself to Him.

Trust Him and let God rule our lives.
