1.) Jesus was born in Bethlehem during the time of Herod the Great. Magi from the east came to
Herod and asked him where they would find the King of the Jews, because they had seen his
star.
2.) In the Bible, Jesus Christ names 12 apostles to spread his gospel, and the early Christian church
owes its rapid rise to their missionary zeal.
3.) Judas Iscariot was one of the Twelve Apostles. He is notorious for betraying Jesus by disclosing
Jesus' whereabouts for 30 pieces of silver. Judas brought men to arrest Jesus and identified him
with a kiss.
4.) Jesus was brought to the "Place of a Skull" and crucified with two thieves, with the charge of
claiming to be "King of the Jews", and the soldiers divided his clothes before he bowed his head
and died.
