REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

NOTE: Manufacturer's terminology for this filter is dust and pollen


filter.
CABIN AIR FILTER

CAUTION: Air intake plenum cover section must not contact


dust and pollen filter.

NOTE: To prevent water from running onto dust and pollen filter
and into the heating system, the air intake plenum cover
and wind deflector must be properly installed.
Removal & Installation (2000-2006)

1. Lift air intake plenum cover section (A). Push back tabs (B). See Fig. 1.

2. Remove dust and pollen filter element (C) from housing. See Fig. 1.

NOTE: To prevent water from running onto dust and pollen


filter and into the heating system, the air intake plenum
cover and wind deflector must be properly installed. Air
intake plenum cover section -A- must not contact dust
and pollen filter.

3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Dust and pollen filter must be installed
correctly in frame. Arrow marks -A- on frame indicate air flow direction
through filter element. See Fig. 2.
