What are the main objectives of a good Industrial Relations in the industry?

 As mentioned in
the guest session, please share your thoughts on factors that impact Industrial Relations in
an organisation.
According to me the main objectives of industrial relations is
positive interaction between superiors and workers
positive interaction between Management and the employees (sometimes union leaders)
Positive interaction between the leader and the team itself
Also interaction with the lowest level workers of the top most level in order to avoid conflicts
(increase trust)
As suggested by Mr. Rajeev Mujumdar the impact of the Industrial relations can be seen
through PEST
Political – as often it is seen that union leaders represent a good strength of employees and
with good industrial relations and laws for the workers these union leaders (representatives
of the workers) will protest less and be in harmony
Economical – equal wages and no unnecessary cuts on any biasness is avoided by good
industrial relation but if not provided economic factors have huge impact
Social – employees should be given equal treatment which should be free from any kind of
biasness or it can have a negative impact
Technological, the employees should be trained according to the new technology instead of
kicking them out after they have proven their loyalty.
