Direction:  In not more than 150 words write an essay and/or reaction/reflection
paper based on your own opinion/perspective on the given of topic “The role of
the youth in nation building through NSTP.” Give at least 3-5 things/ideas that you
have learned or gained in the discussion.

The spring of life is youth. Any country's real treasure is its youth. The young, like
every other citizen, hold equal responsibility. They are the foundation of a country.
Young people's primary role is to obtain a good education in order to become better
citizens of the future. And there's this program of the government which is the
National Service Training Program, which seeks to encourage young people to
become civic and/or become leaders and volunteers who are capable of meeting
the needs of the nation by providing their services and patriotism. Youth have the
ability to build their own identity while also empowering their country to move
forward. And it is possible with the help of the NSTP. In conclusion, if youths use hard
work and their knowledge of NSTP in nation building, it will truly end up successfully.
The NSTP plays an important role in our lives, and as young people we must learn
about it.
