The advantages and disadvantages of online classes

One of the most used terms after the pandemic after the pandemic is the “new normal”. The new normal in education
is the introduction of online classes. For many schools this is a new way of education. That they have had to adopt at
it. But not only schools have to adapt, also teacher and students have had to create new strategies and new teaching
methods, with video, audio, PDFs….

Online classes had its own set of advantages and disadvantages. There are a lot of advantages for example you can
sleep more but teachers usually don’t because they have to prepare a lot of things for students using their own
computer, this unlocked a lot of new digital skills for teachers and students, effectively is easier to cheat if you are very
good with these digital skills.

Another advantage is that students can save a lot of time: lessons are shorter and con lunch immediately soon after
lessons. Students in fact are in their comfort zone, clothes, food and beverages anytime they want and more
comfortable zone.

If you aren’t very focused you could distract very often with this comfort and social media, this is one of the most
disadvantages, that could make a less production of the student, unfortunately getting distracted is almost inevitable
because the stress and the visual headaches require it.

Another big disadvantage is the less interactive of the student with the lessons, it is linked to the less productivity,
because there isn’t face to face to teachers and classmates. So, the student misses the contact and the fun in the
break.

In conclusion, after all, I feel like saying (mi sento di dire), that disadvantages are less but more severe and speaking as
a student, I can say, That I prefer to have a better performance and social interaction than to rest 10 minutes more
