TARGETS FOR UNIFORMED WOMEN IN PEACE OPERATIONS

The UN Security Council (2242) called for doubling the number of women in uniformed components of
peace operations. Currently, only around 5% of all uniformed military, police, and justice and corrections
personnel in the field are women. More efforts are needed to reach our targets for 2019, 2028, and beyond.
