Good morning!

Please pass out the DMP (math morning work) and the math buzz 28 (homework)
before students arrive. The students will work on Day 2 of the math DMP while waiting for
announcements. The blue and yellow bins should be placed on the table for students to turn in
their homework and DMP once finished.

As students arrive, have them unpack and wash their hands before beginning their morning
work. Every time they leave or enter the classroom, the students must either use hand sanitizer
or wash their hands.

Students will place their popsicle stick with their name in either the packing or buying cup next
to the sink. Please write the number of students buying and any absent students on a slip of
paper and place it in the envelope hanging outside the door.

8:45- 9:10- The students will begin arriving at 8:45. Please pull up the agenda flip chart and
write Buzz 28 next to math, and Art Tomorrow.

9:30-10:30- Have students pack up for math.

10:35-11:20- Have students pack up for art. They will need their pencil boxes and computers.
While the students are in art, please mark their DMP’s and homework for any incorrect
answers. Place any incorrect work on the students’ desks for them to fix after art.

11:20-11:45- Students will work on any corrections needed, then work on Reflex until lunch.
Place a checkmark next to each students’ name on the clipboard once they show you the green
light on reflex. To go out to recess, students must have all work corrected and the green light.

11:50-12:20: Students have lunch.

12:30-1:15: Have students pack up for content and go to their corresponding rooms.

1:15-1:45- Students have recess. Students that have not completed reflex or corrections will
work during this time.
1:45-2:15- After students come back in, have Alex, Emma and Sofia Z come to reading group in
the extra room next to Mr. Bryan. From Mr. Bryan’s room, call Alayna and Paxson. Begin the
book “The Bedouin Boy” and follow the lesson plan on corresponding card that is sitting on top
of the books.

2:15-2:45- The next reading group will come at this time. Begin the new book, “Flying Spies”
and follow the corresponding card directions.

2:45-3:15- Distribute the “Ghost Town at Sundown” packets to students. Pull up the Ghost
Town flipchart, read the two ‘before reading’ questions aloud, and answer together. Begin
reading the book, “Ghost Town at Sundown” by pulling popsicle sticks from the cup and calling
on the student to read aloud. After reading chapter 1, answer the questions as a class and
record the answers on the flipchart.
 Write the answers using expo markers on Starlyn, Conall and Tyler’s desks.

3:15- Have Alex pack up as his van will be called first.


3:20- Have the students pack up.
3:25- Dismissal
