A: I’m a new student in this group.
B: Me too. What do you study?
A: I study Industrial Engineering. And you?
B: I want to be a psychologist. Mmm… Are you from Peru?
A: No, I’m not. I’m from Venezuela. And you?
B: I’m from Peru. I’m 22 years old and you?
A: I’m 22 years old too. And where do you live?
B: I live in La Victoria district. And you?
A: I live on Petit Thouars Avenue and I live with my family.
B: Oh, nice. I live with my family too. I have a big family. I have six sisters and three
brothers. What about you?
A: I have three brothers and I have three little nieces. My nieces are nice and cute.
B: Oh well, I don’t have little nieces, but my siblings are funny and friendly.
A: So, your house is big too.
B: Of course, I have 12 bedrooms, 6 baths, a huge living room and a nice yard. And I have a
garage.
A: Uhm... so you have a car!
B: Of course, I have a beautiful red car.
A: Amazing! My house isn’t too big and I don’t have a yard, so my nieces like playing in the
park of my town.
B: Oh! That’s good. And…. Do you like any sports?
A: Uhm... I don’t like sports and I don’t have time. My routine is really busy.
B: Me too, I study on weekdays and I work on weekends. I always get up early and go to
university. I have different lessons during the day.
A: In my case, I go to university in the morning and I go to work in the afternoon. I help my
mom on weekends in our grocery store.
B: Oh... do you have a grocery store?
A: Yes, I do. My grocery store is between the City Bank and the library.
B: Nice! So, you don’t have a hobby?
A: Actually, yes! I like watching basketball games in my free time. My favorite basketball
player is Stephen Curry and you?
B: I like listening to music or reading. My favorite singer is Shakira. She is beautiful and
intelligent.
A: What about food?
B: Peruvian food is the best one, but the Arepas are good too.
A: I prepared delicious Arepas at home. I have some Arepas in my bag.
B: Really?
A: At the end of class we can try them.
B: I love them. Thank you. Well, the class is starting! Let’s continue our conversation later.
