SHORT STORY FOR:

The Legend of the Godessess of India

THE GOOD-GOD “DEMETHRIA” TURNED INTO A EVIL GOD, “SIVA”;

Born of the new God, Vishnu the Protector

Without the awareness of everyone, the hidden good-god Demethria awaken her inside’s
demon after the death of his beloved man, the god turned into a devil and was now called Siva, the
destroyer. She ruined kingdom in the Southern Africa and proceed her evilness to the Northern India.
Folks saw how capable this god to destroy anything.

On the otherhand, the upper god Brahma who was the maker and the strongest god, saw this
violent action of Siva. He decided to make one new god and will program to fight villain who will attemp
to destroy his creations. Finally, the plan was been made, now here comes the final product, “Vishnu
The Protector”, Brahma declare to the new god, “You are Vishnu, my disciple. Now go to lower worlds,
fight my enemies. You are my follower”, Vishnu obey the command of his master, he goes to the lower
worlds.

He first go to the main villian, Siva, he spoke to the evil god,”I am Vishnu, the follower of
Brahma, he sent me here to end your evilness”. Without another words, they fight each other. People
were afraid because the fight didn’t end even it takes already 300 years, they think that if the fight
continues, the world might be damage because of the powers inhabited by the 2 gods. Vishnu also
thought thesame, he got new idea! He knows that Siva is too powerful, so he will just creat a jar and
next, if Siva attacked him, he would use his power to make Siva small and he will make Siva go inside
the jar. Even if Vishnu won’t deafet Siva, then he will make her a prisoner. So the command of his
master will still be followed.

After so many centuries, the great quarrel had been forgotten, the everyday life of the Indians
were back to normal, but one thing they never forgot, the hero god, Vishnu the Protector.

But, even Siva was been prisoned, she still have her dark army to continue what she have been
started, to destroy who believed in Brahma, her mortal enemy.

From this short story, we have recognized what is, until recently goddesses of India. We also
knew that Brahma is the strongest god, Siva is the Destroyer, and Vishnu is the Preserver or
tagpagtaguyod in Tagalog term.

Remember, that the first version of this story, Demethria, refers to the first name of Siva, can be
read in the story, “Kung Bakit Nasa Ilalim ng Lupa ang Ginto at ang Alamat ng Diyamente”. Read it so you
