EXPERIENCE GAIN

Industrial visits represent an important activity in any engineering undergraduate


programme that contributes to the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and
programme objectives. The purpose of this visit was to provide early industrial exposure as
well as actual working conditions to undergraduate students of various engineering courses
especially those involved in the materials and manufacturing process.

The visit generally consists of lectures about the company, the site being visited and a
range of topics specific to learning outcomes. So, the experience what we get from this
industrial visit is:

 Investigate, troubleshooting process problem & prepare report, flow diagram and
chart.
 Experience the importance of working safety.
 For students pursuing professional education (Marketing/Finance/Operations/Supply
Chain etc.), industrial visits help them gain hands-on experience of how industry
operations are executed.
 Industry visits bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in a
real-life environment.
 With industry visits, students are able to better identify their prospective areas of work
in the overall organizational function.
 Industry visits help enhance interpersonal skills and communication techniques.
 Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving
quality standards.
