    VW EOS Window lifter schematic

    1.5mm dia stainless wire.

    P2 P3

    X1/X2 stop ferrules are 5.5mm hex X 7mm long


    Wire end stop ferrules are 4.2mm hex X 5mm long.

    X1 X2

    Nylon grooved
    P1 Drum D P4

    ‘T’
    Drum is 7 turns @35mm diameter.
    Therefore max window rise/fall is. approx 384mm
    On right is the wire tensioner. Note: this operates
    in ONE direction only
