Kabbalah has been popularized by The Kabbalah Centre it has a
rich history with a wide corpus of literature. Kabbalah has also been
associated with coffee and cafes since the 16th century, when coffee
came to Israel and the Kabbalists of Safed would use it to stay up late at
night, study text, perform rituals, and sing holy songs. In this series, we
will drink coffee and tea while we discuss kabbalistic texts.
In this month’s Kabbalah cafe, we will continue our discussion of modern
Kabbalistic movements including: Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, the Kabbalah
Centre, Jewish Renewal, B’nai Baruch, and Habad.

JEWISH OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP

INSTITUTE
The Jewish Outdoor Leadership Institute (JOLI) with
Camp Ramah of the Rockies is a dynamic new program
that trains Jewish teens (entering 11th &12th graders)
to become competent and confident outdoor leaders.
JOLI participants spend about half of their time at our
rustic base camp, known as the Ramah in the Rockies
Ranch, living alongside chalutzim (pioneers/campers) in
the Ramah Outdoor Adventure Camp. Participants live
in their own tent with a counselor but share facilities with
chalutzim at Ramah Outdoor Adventure. Visit http://
