Íema qi viziunea despre lume a autorului
Cadrul spalio-temporal este simbolic. Spa{iul inchis din tabloul II. 9i III. prezintá
omul, care are limite impuse de regimul comunist, din perioada formárii operei. Timpul
este marcat de intunericul din burta peqtelui, gi de soarele din final.
Ín concluzie, prin piesa ,,Iona' Marin Sorescu aduce innoirea radicalá: teatnrl-
parabolá, in care faptele, gesturile lui lona, decorul faee parte din alegorie, iar limbajul
este metaforic. Mesajul operei este actualá in orice clipá qi orice epocá: instráinarea
omului de societate conduce la instráinarea de sine insuqi.
