JACKIE CHAN

Jackie Chan is an actor, director, stunt performer, film producer, martial arts actor, comedy
actor, screenwriter and singer from Hong Kong.

He is a well-known figure in the martial art of kung fu and a world wide screen actor who is
famous for his acrobatic fighting actions, is an expert in the use of various tools found around him as
weapons and a fighting actor who has many innovations.

A cultural icon, he has been referenced in numerous songs, cartoons and video games. Apart
from acting, he is a Cantopop and Mandopop star, and has published no less than 20 albums and sung
much of the theme music from the films in which he has acted.

He was born in 1954 at Victoria Peak, Hong Kong, as Chan Kong, the son of Charles and Lee-
Lee Chan, refugees from the Chinese Civil War.

Chan attended Nah-Hwa Primary School in mainland Hong Kong, but unfortunately, he didn't
graduate so his parents kicked him out of school.

Jackie Chan married Lin Feng-Jiao, a Taiwanese actress. In the same year they had a son singer
and actor Jaycee Chan and has a daughter with Miss Asia Pageant winner Elaine Ng.

Jackie Chan received a call from Willie Chan, a film producer in the Hong Kong film industry
who was very impressed with his stunts. Willie Chan offered a role in a film directed by Lo Wei.
